Today I start my blog journey, and like most journeys I've been on, (a large potion being Pokemon journeys) they start with this question. I am a boy, well an "adult" male, but who's counting (23). I am starting this blog to give me an excuse(?) to write, well maybe it's more of a motivator (There we go) to write. I will be posting various things I have written, I'm going to start with some things I have already written, then add new things as they come to me.
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Raul Luna, but my friends call me Rauly. I am a recent graduate of SDSU (No i don't know anyone who was caught with drugs... although I did work with someone who was dating one of the guys in the drug bust, that's cool right?) I majored in Theatre (Or Theater, I will be switching between the two a lot, I will also be using "alot" and various other grammatical errors and possible misspellings, please try not to fault me too much on it) I've done it all, Acted, Directed, Stage Managed, Wrote, Lighting etc. I hope to make something out of it all someday, with the help of my friends, I'm sure you will see their names come up somewhere. I love writing for the stage because it's where my heart is at, in Theater you get one shot to do a performance, and you gotta roll witht he punches if something doesn't work out right.
My first couple of Posts are going to be skits that I wrote for an event called "Shots of Sketch: Bottled Comedy" we all agreed that it "Tastes Funny" (Ha! Get it?) It was a night of sketch comedy that me and my friends had put together, hope you enjoy and keep an eye out for more posts
